Thank you for stopping by and learning about different ways I can help you with your fitness goals. There are many, many options that we can work through to design a training program specifically for your needs, lifestyle and budget.
With my AFAA Personal Training certification and 15+ years’ worth of experience I am confident that we can work together regardless of your age, physical condition and time limitations. One of the great benefits of training with me is that I make house calls. There is no need for a gym membership since I come to your door. Based on the equipment you already have, I will make recommendations for other items you may need to purchase at a certain time. To begin with, we will use your own body weight, dumbbells, tubing or bands. We will go over all of this during our initial consultation.
Most of my personal training clients simply need an action plan and accountability to stick with it. All have the desire to be healthy but just need a professional to point them in the right direction and keep them moving forward toward their goal, regardless of what they happen to be.
As we age so many changes occur within our bodies: loss of muscle mass, tone, coordination, balance, strength, to name a few. Our brains thrive on oxygen, therefore cardiovascular training becomes vital during the aging process. Our hearts are our most important muscle in the entire body – furthering the need for cardiovascular training. Most of us know what we need to do (exercise 3 times a week for 30 minutes) but most do not know how to implement a lifestyle plan.
That’s where I come in. We will begin our training time with a consultation where we will discuss the following topics:
- – Your goals
- – Your schedule
- – Take measurements: body fat, waist, chest, hips, and BMI
- – Set reasonable short- and long-term goals
- – Review payment and cancellation policies
There is a big difference in being “interested” and being “committed.” If you are committed to attaining a healthy lifestyle, I can help you cross the bridge from simply being interested into being committed!
